In the pursuit of sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and carbon reduction, we often focus on energy, aviation, construction, and food. Yet, the telecom industry frequently escapes scrutiny, even though, in 2022, it contributed 1,6% of global emissions, or about 600 million tons. Will it continue to evade the spotlight, or will it face increasing attention in the future?
