UNDO offset 139 tons of CO₂ last year – Together we make a difference
Between July 25, 2023 and July 24, 2024, we offset no less than 139 tons of CO₂ together with our community. A number we look back on with pride — because behind it lies a growing movement of conscious users who want to make mobile telecom more sustainable.

What does 139 tons of CO₂ actually mean?
To put it in perspective: 139 tons of CO₂ equals the total climate impact of around 1,500 smartphones (production and use), or about 700,000 km driven by an average car. That’s nearly 17 times around the world.
Who did the offsetting?
The split is clear and impactful:
- 47 tons of CO₂ were offset by our users themselves, via the UNDO Tracker and UNDO Removal in the app.
- The remaining 92 tons were automatically offset by UNDO — on behalf of our customers.
So every UNDO customer contributes — even without realizing it. Because CO₂ compensation is standard in every subscription, at no extra cost.
Why does this matter?
Mobile communication may seem harmless, but using your smartphone – from data usage to charging the battery – also generates emissions. These fall under Scope 3: indirect emissions often overlooked by companies and consumers alike.
At UNDO, we take this seriously. That’s why we offer:
- Transparent insight via the UNDO Tracker
- CO₂ credits included in every subscription
- One tree planted per user, with every new subscription
